I was watching TV the other day and came across some woods racing... i think it was GNCC racing. those guys were flying thru the woods and mud on those thumpers... it was kind of crazy. i've seen it before... just didn't realize how fast they are going. i don't see how they do it. _________________ 12 Rzr S white/orange

I raced GNCC for a few years after getting out of motocross. I like it better than moto-x. After going to quads and then to SXS's, I can tell you that it's a WHOLE LOT easier (thus faster) to navigate 2 wheels between obstacles than 4. I can ride most trails 2 to 3 times faster on a quad (versus a SXS) and probably that again on a bike. They're a lot of fun, but won't haul the kids and a cooler, so 4 wheels it is!

My philosophy (I was a lot younger and stupider then) was win or crash.....so I crashed a lot .

I used to rub b class Hare Scrambles. Basically a 1 and a half hour adrenaline rush. I was fast but those A class guys well.....holy shit! I just never had the stamina or balls they did. I can tell you this. I have had some of my worst crashes just trying to get out of there way. I sure miss it though. Loretta Lynn ranch used to hold one leg of the GNCC races if you haven't ever seen it in person its worth the trip to camp and watch those guys they are truly amazing. _________________ 09 RZR S FENDERS NEEDED

Yeap, I've ran MANY races at Hurricane Mills . The Blackwater 100 was one of my fav's. I have no idea what genius thought that a tricycle with a 250cc 2-stroke engine was a good idea, but it's a wonder I'm still alive. I saw a guy get Lifestar'd out of Royal Blue after attempting to climb the "The Wall" on a 250R back in the day. I still have an old Tri-Z 250 in my dad's basement. I'm gonna drag it out and sell it to an antique dealer one of these days. I'm try to resist the urge to ride it.....it's the wheelie machine of death .
